Days after Oprah Winfrey was spotted in Jordan and called Petra a “must-see”, Salma Hayek also shared a beautiful video montage of her vacation in the country. Together with her husband, Kering chairman and CEO François-Henri Pinault, the actor appeared to be enjoying her sun-kissed holiday as she explores the ancient wonders of Wadi Rum.
Hayek, who is of Lebanese descent, looks stunning in a sage green blouse and loose black pants, her hair pulled back to counter the heat. “Desert Rose” provides the perfect background music as she lovingly pets a camel and takes a photo with her husband smiling by her side, the red stones and imposing structures of Wadi Rum enhancing every shot. The House of Gucci star also shows off her colorful beaded bracelets which she presumably bought on the trip. The caption on her post reads, “Wandering through the ancient wonders of Jordan, one step at a time.”

Photos from another post on her Instagram show the actress lounging in a traditional majlis surrounded by the famed red sands of Jordan. The desert sun lends her complexion a luminous golden glow as the 56-year-old lifts her face up. With little to no makeup, Hayek proves that her reputation as a timeless age-defying beauty is well deserved. She captioned this trio of photos, “Inhaling the magic of Jordan” before crediting her husband as the photographer.
