Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Reveal the First Pictures of Their Son Riot Rose

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are ready to share their second child with the world.

In a photoshoot with acclaimed fashion photographer Miles Diggs, known by his professional name Diggzy, the parents publicly posed with their two young children—RZA Athelston and Riot Rose—for the first time.

Instead of a traditional family portrait session, the two musical artists put on a paparazzi-shot, street style-inspired spin: together, the four lean against a Range Rover at night. Rihanna wears a pair of navy panta-boots and a denim hoodie, whereas A$AP leans casually against the car’s hood in a tank top and Bottega Veneta printed leather jeans. Meanwhile, RZA is nestled against his mother while a newborn Riot Rose lays in his father’s arms wearing a pink suit and tiny Timberland boots.

They also shared more candid moments: in one photograph, A$AP runs around with RZA on his shoulders. Another features a close-up of the parents playing with Riot Rose on a printed mat.

Diggs, notably, also captured Rihanna’s first pregnancy announcement in 2022.

It’s already one of 2023’s major pop-culture moments: after Rihanna explosively announced her pregnancy back in February at the Super Bowl, the anticipation around the birth of her second child dominated websites, tabloids, newspapers, and blogs for months. It was fueled, no doubt, by Rihanna’s fashion-forward maternity style: (this was an expecting mother, after all, that dressed her baby bump in custom Margiela, a Valentino Haute Couture silk faille dress, and a lacy Alaïa bodysuit on the cover of Vogue.) Yet despite reports that she gave birth in August, Rihanna and A$AP hadn’t confirmed the news themselves until now.

Below, see more pictures of the famous family of four.
