In collaboration with the Royal Commission for AlUla and the Saudi Polo Federation, Richard Mille brings forth the Richard Mille AlUla Desert Polo, the first ever polo tournament to be hosted in the desert. The event will take place on February 11 and 12 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a continuing sign of support for the sport. Marking itself as a global event with polo patrons and professionals from around the world partaking in the tournament, the event promises to be iconic.
Working towards the transformational vision of Saudi Arabia and the SPF in establishing the country as a central hub for polo enthusiasts all across the globe, Richard Mille has further enhanced its efforts by designing a tournament as the Title Sponsor and Timekeeper. To this end, the event with thereafter be known as the Richard Mille AlUla Desert Polo.
As expected, many of the greatest polo players in the world will be playing within the tournament. Pablo Mac Donough is among these esteemed names to be part of the event, alongside fellow teammates Adolfo Cambiaso, Pelon Stirlingand, and Juan Martin Nero. The arena that the tournament is set to take place in is one specially built near the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hegra.
Against the backdrop of the AlUla desert terrain, the Richard Mille AlUla Desert Polo will include some of the best players in the world, all competing for the trophy whilst marking history in the prestigious sport.
