Originally built as a suburban getaway in the early 1700s by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, Rajmahal Palace RAAS Jaipur is a regally eclectic space within the throbbing heart of Jaipur, with a long legacy of being home to many royals. The hotel, although contemporary in appearance now, still stays true to the original Rajput architecture, complete with art decor and other architectural forms that were added throughout the years by British residents and the Jaipur royal family.

Rajmahal Palace RAAS Jaipur offers its guests 13 spacious rooms and suites, with its sophisticated yet playful interiors imbuing the place with an air of resplendence. Featuring ornate period furniture and family heirloom sets amidst bursts of emerald green and royal pink, the venue is also decorated with traditional artefacts and ancestral heirloom. Interestingly, some of the suites at the property have been named after famous personalities who once occupied them, such as Kennedy, Mountbatten, and Diana, Princess of Wales. One of the highlights of the hotel include the Queen Elizabeth Suite, which consists of two bedrooms, and the Maharaja Suite, which, when combined with the Yuvraj Suite, forms two separate apartments within the larger establishment. The venue exudes a sense of aristocracy, with the walls in every room and suite adorned with 48 distinctly crafted wallpapers inspired by Jaipur icons such as the Hawa Mahal, and are drawn from the royal family’s archive.
