HM Queen Rania celebrated her son, HRH Crown Prince Hussein’s birthday by sharing an unseen picture of him with his wife, Princess Rajwa Al-Hussein.
June 28 marks the birthday of HRH Crown Prince Hussein, which was celebrated by his mother Queen Rania via a never-before-seen picture. Shared with the royal’s 10.2 million followers, the photo shows the prince with his wife, Princess Rajwa Al-Hussein, posing in an open green space with smiles on their faces as they look to the side. The princess is wearing a pale yellow dress by Rabanne which features short sleeves, and a stretchy, form-fitting silhouette showcasing the expecting mother’s baby bump. “Happy birthday my dearest Hussein,” Queen Rania captured the picture. “Can’t wait to see you and Rajwa as parents!”
This is one of the rare few times the world has seen a glimpse of a pregnant Princess Rajwa, since the Royal Hashemite Court of Jordan announced the happy news on April 10. “The Royal Hashemite Court is pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown Prince, and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein, are expecting, with God’s help and grace, their first child, in the summer of this year,” read the statement. “The Royal Hashemite Court extends its sincere congratulations to Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah on this occasion, and wishes Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Al Hussein and Princess Rajwa good health and joy as they welcome their baby.”

Prior to this, the princess was seen at the celebratory event for HM King Abdullah II’s Silver Jubilee, which was also the mother-to-be’s first public appearance. The couple tied the knot in June 2023, in what was the biggest royal wedding of the year, attended by officials and other royal families from around the world. The prince and princess are next line for the Jordanian throne, after Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania.
