Priyanka Chopra recently took to Instagram to share a couple of adorable photos of her daughter, Maltie Marie.
Earlier this week, the mother-of-one posted an Instagram Story of her daughter being held by her aunt, Kiran Mathur in what seemed like their yard. As customary for new parents with a public presence, Malti’s face was hidden in the post. Although Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas share glimpses from their daily lives now and then, the couple has chosen not to show their newborn’s face online so far.
Later, the Matrix Resurrections star also shared a couple of pictures on her feed of herself holding the baby in a chair out by the pool and a second picture where Chopra fondly looks down at her daughter, who has her feet against her face. The post was captioned, “Love like no other”, along with a heart emoji.

The couple welcomed their baby via surrogacy earlier this year in January. “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate,” they said in a joint statement. “We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much.”
Both Chopra and Jonas share a close bond with each other’s families. The baby’s name is a tribute to Chopra’s mother, Madhu Malti Chopra, and Jonas’ mother Denise Marie Jonas. Madhu Chopra also frequents the pair’s house, and had recently shared that during her visits, “I give a massage and Nick gives her a bath and changes her diapers.”
Earlier this month, Chopra also shared a photo of their child via Instagram Stories, which showed Malti dressed in a onesie that read “Desi Girl”, a nickname Chopra earned during her career in Bollywood.
