Buckingham Palace has confirmed the news we were all hoping for: Prince George and Princess Charlotte will be present at Princess Eugenie and James Brooksbank’s wedding. In fact, the children of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William will take on very important roles on the big day.
After a super adorable stint at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s wedding as little helpers, the young royals will dust off their page boy and bridesmaid outfits to reprise their roles at their second cousin’s wedding at St George’s Chapel, Windsor on Friday.
“Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie of York and Mr Jack Brooksbank have chosen the following friends and family to be in their bridal party for their wedding on Friday 12th October,” wrote Buckingham Palace in an official statement on Wednesday, listing HRH Princess Charlotte of Cambridge as the bridesmaid and her brother, HRH Prince George of Cambridge, as page boy. The little royals are practically pro at wedding duties, having served as page boy and bridesmaid at their aunt Pippa Middleton’s nuptials to James Matthews last year.
The three-year-old princess will be joined by Zara Tindall’s four-year-old daughter Mia, Princess Eugenie’s goddaughter Maud Windsor, Robbie Williams’ daughter Theodora, and Autumn Phillips’s daughters Savannah and Isla. Meanwhile, the son of Zoe De Givenchy and Olivier De Givenchy, six-year-old Louis de Givenchy, will serve as the only other page boy alongside 5-year-old Prince George. The maid of honor will be Eugenie’s sister, Princess Beatrice, and the best man will be Brooksbank’s brother, Thomas Brooksbank.
According to BBC News, 1,200 members of the public have been invited to the wedding at Windsor Castle. Now the only question that remains is whether we’ll finally catch a glimpse of Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s little brother, five-month-old Prince Louis at tomorrow’s ceremony.
