Saudi Arabia-based concept store and creative space Personage is on a journey to unravel the complex maze of the human experience through its upcoming pop-up experience called Labyrinth. Starting Friday, February 7, the three-day event will explore the meaning of life and the value of the now through a diverse program of performances, workshops, and panel discussions in the boutique’s Riyadh location.

Created in partnership with London fashion labels Marr and Labrum as well as KSA-based design and creative agencies Hueman Form, AWJ Interactive by AWJ group, and Make Lemonade SA, the Labyrinth is a hub for creativity and innovation. An interactive installation on Personage’s second floor invites guests to contemplate themes of love, health, and wealth through different forms of art while the first floor will host a series of discussions and masterclasses led by the industry’s emerging design leaders, including Saudi designer Nasiba Hafiz and photographer Hayat Osama.

From tie-dye, embroidery, and customization workshops to musical and live art performances, Labyrinth acts as a springboard for the regional and international creative communities to engage with one another and brainstorm the steps individuals can take to fulfill their artistic potential in their respective areas. Two of the most anticipated components of the installation are the “Love Room”, an area where people can investigate how they “value, perceive, and understand love” as well as the “Health Room”, which aims to uncover how to “balance your mental, physical, and emotional health,” according to Personage.

As a contemporary space that welcomes dialogue on many of the larger questions society is currently grappling with through art, design, and meaningful conversation, Personage is a welcome addition to the Saudi creative scene.
