Last night, at Dubai Mall‘s Fashion Avenue, Vogue Arabia hosted an intimate, chandelier-lit dinner toasting the mall’s 10th anniversary, and kicking off Vogue Loves Fashion Avenue, a 10-day calendar of events designed to celebrate the momentous occasion. Taking in the evening were a number of VIP guests wearing their glittering best, including Vogue Arabia’s November cover star Naomi Campbell (who wore a frock by Nicolas Jebran), Salma Abu Deif, Desiree Gruber, HRH Princess Sultana bint Bader Al-Saud, and Ali Mostafa. The Vogue team was also joined by regional stars like Jessica Kahawaty, Dana Hourani, and the Abdelaziz sisters, Nadine, Farah, and Alice.

Guests mingled in front of the elegant boutiques before being treated to a delectable Italian-infused menu comprised of mini eggplant parmigiana, beef bresaola, salmon with pink peppercorn sauce and squid ink risotto, and Wagyu steak with rocket and shaved parmesan, complete with a dance performance choreographed by Danny Lee. Of course, the evening wouldn’t be complete without dessert. The meal was topped off with a selection of signature Parisian-inspired treats including choco gateau mini cakes, decorated with what else? Vogue artwork. Following dessert, it was time to hit the dance floor at the newly-opened Zeta in the Address Downtown…
