Patrón and Lalique have launched the third esteemed edition of their collectible series. A rare drink showcased in an exquisite, limited edition crystal glass decanter, only 299 bottles were produced, and two are now available in Dubai.
Tucked in the midst of the city’s hustle and bustle, a private tasting at Gallería Patrón in Dubai saw Mexico’s master of premier artisanal elixirs—and the crown jewel of the crystal industry in France—unveil their most striking masterpiece yet, Patrón en Lalique: Serie 3.
The flourishing relationship between Patrón and Lalique has once again resulted in a most exciting collectible that spotlights artistic grandeur in its devotion to perfection and tireless detailing. Both masters in their trade, Patrón and Lalique’s unwavering commitment to craftmanship has resulted in their finest collaboration to date.
Patrón is one of the few brands that still makes its product by hand using all natural ingredients at the Hacienda Patrón in Mexico. An homage to the Weber Blue Agave plant, from which Patrón is born, emerges from this release. Patrón Master Distiller David Rodriguez and his team brought to life a blend of extra añejo liquid that is so rare, it can never be replicated. 14 different versions, each aged for up to eight years in French and American oak barrels were hand selected and combined to create Patrón en Lalique: Serie 3. Sweet and smooth featuring hints of spices, dried fruits, and intense wood are noticeable at once, while an alluring crystalline color invites indulgence.
To house such a distinctive blend, Marc Larminaux, Lalique’s Artistic and Creative Director, designed a crystal decanter that recalls where Patrón is sourced from and crafted – the decanter is an artistic interpretation of the aforementioned agave plant. A team of expert glassmakers at the Lalique factory in Wingen-sur-Moder in Alsace, France, handmade an exclusive collection of 299 crystal decanters, each of them carrying their individual number and crafted using a combination of modern and traditional techniques. The final product is a testimony to Lalique’s expert craftsmanship and avant-garde nature, and offers a truly luxurious, exceptional experience for drinkers.
The exclusive release will retail for $8,000. Only two limited-edition 750ml bottles are available in Dubai at At.mosphere, Burj Khalifa, and Ling Ling, Atlantis The Royal but Patrón en Lalique is also available for purchase globally where fine spirits are sold and on BlockBar.com – the world’s first direct-to-consumer NFT marketplace for fine wine and spirits.
