Dubai‘s luxury landscape has reached new heights with the unveiling of The Alba, a $1.9 billion development by OMNIYAT. The Alba, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, will become the world’s first ultra luxury garden retreat by the sea with hospitality solutions. Located on the Eastern Crescent of Palm Jumeirah, this development promises to reshape the idea of luxury living.
Located on the Eastern Crescent of Palm Jumeirah, this one-of-a-kind retreat blends cutting-edge architecture with tropical gardens, creating a blend of nature and luxury. The development will offer private sanctuaries with panoramic views of Dubai Marina, Burj Al Arab, and Burj Khalifa. It will also feature ultra-luxury residences managed by Dorchester Collection.
“The Alba represents OMNIYAT’s vision of reimagined luxury by the sun and sea,” says OMNIYAT’s founder and executive chairman, Mahdi Amjad. The development’s focus will be on privacy-centric residences, complemented by OMNIYAT’s signature approach to delivering personalized waterfront experiences. The Alba will offer a variety of residential options, ranging from two-bedroom furnished units to penthouses, all featuring floor-to-ceiling heights exceeding three meters and expansive outdoor terraces. The development is also pursuing WELL Certification, reflecting its focus on ecological responsibility.
In addition to the residences, The Alba will host Dubai’s largest wellness center, operated by a global partner to be announced. A second Dorchester Collection hotel will also be part of the development, further solidifying OMNIYAT’s role in shaping Dubai’s luxury living and hospitality landscape. “The foundation of our culture is the care we have for our guests and people, which has been celebrated globally,” says Christopher Cowdray, president of Dorchester Collection. “With panoramic views across the sea and the city’s famous landmarks, The Alba will provide redefined luxury through exceptional design in an environment where nature and wellness converge.”
