As February is already in our midst, Netflix is back with more binge-worthy content for the new month. In usual fashion, there are some new documentaries, movies, and series that will be debuting soon. From an aching romantic drama to a thrilling documentary, here are some of the best new releases coming to Netflix this February.

Launching February 3.

Nadiya Bakes

Delightful cakes and heavenly breads pop from the oven as Nadiya Hussain returns to baking, her happy place, and spotlights creative kindred spirits.

Amend: The Fight for America

Amend: The Fight for America is a six-part docuseries that explores the Fourteenth Amendment of the US. Constitution – which, in 1868, promised liberty and equal protection for all persons – as America’s most enduring hallmark of democracy.

Launching February 17.

Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel

From director Joe Berlinger, Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel is the first season in a new documentary series that deconstructs the mythology and mystery surrounding infamous locations in contemporary crime.

Launching February 10.

Red Dot is a Swedish action thriller set in the Swedish mountains and follows David and Nadja, a couple in their late 20s, who have been struggling with their marriage. But after what started as a quarrel with two local hunters, their romantic trip slowly turns into a nightmare. Meanwhile, during this sadistic hunt, the couple’s past also comes back to haunt them.

Launching on February 11.

Space Sweepers

Set in 2092, spaceship Victory is one of the many that live off salvaging space debris. Crewed with a genius space pilot Tae-ho, a mysterious ex-space pirate, Captain Jang, a spaceship engineer Tiger Park and a reprogrammed military robot, Bubs, Spaceship Victory surpasses all other space sweepers.

News of the World

Five years after the end of the Civil War, Captain Jefferson Kyle Kidd, a veteran of three wars, moves from town to town as a non-fiction storyteller, sharing the news of presidents and queens, glorious feuds, devastating catastrophes, and gripping adventures from the far reaches of the globe.

Pelé 

The story looks back at the extraordinary 12-year period in which Pelé, the only man to win three World Cup titles, went from young superstar in 1958 to national hero in 1970; a radical yet turbulent era in Brazil’s history.

Animals on the Loose

Bear Grylls returns with Animals on the Loose: A You vs. Wild movie, an exciting 90-minute interactive movie for the whole family. The protective fence surrounding a wildlife sanctuary has mysteriously suffered a breach, and now animals are on the loose. With the possibility of completing a secret mission, each decision impacts this interactive adventure, so make your choices count.
