Catering to the worldwide speculation and curiosity surrounding Neom, the Saudi Arabian megaproject has released real-life footage of its construction. Since 3D renderings were a majority of what was used to communicate its updates up until now, this marks the first time the world gets a glimpse of the progress on the groundbreaking site, which is now in the building phase.

In over two minutes, the video takes the viewer through aerial footage of the large-scale construction across Neom regions including its flagship city The Line, mountain destination Trojena, Oxagon—a center for advanced industries, and luxury island Sindalah, which is due to open in 2024.  “We want to show the world that Neom is really happening,” reads the statement on the project’s website.
