Narnia, a new concept from the award-winning AVA team, combines the refinement of fine dining with the relaxing ambiance of a lounge, resulting in a space where you can unwind while enjoying excellent Pan Asian dining.
Located within Loona in Downtown Dubai, Narnia provides a unique dining experience. Traditional Pan Asian dishes are given bold new twists — think wagashi-based tiramisu, sushi without rice, fish served on a “rice” base of cauliflower, and white asparagus, a healthy but decadent treat. And the inventiveness doesn’t end there. As stunning to look at as they are to eat, dishes like butterfish enhanced with truffle, and smoked eel with nori and sesame also make winning options. The desserts at Narnia are imaginative and innovative, demonstrating that even in a low-sugar cuisine, there is place for charm. Their standout dishes are the tiramisu with caramel miso wagashi base, and a very special dessert disguised within a cauliflower head.
Narnia is the fourth initiative by the AVA team, which includes Anton Pinskiy, Vitaly Istomin, and Artem Losev. Together, the three powerhouses draw on their exceptional careers with Michelin-starred restaurants and 50 Best projects, bringing their creativity and knowledge to each dish. Artem and Vitaly’s culinary odyssey include stops in Belgium, Norway, England, and Switzerland, while Pinskiy’s success has taken him to Kazakhstan, Doha, Oman, and Turkey, making Narnia a true synthesis of global skill and expertise.
