On last night’s episode of Takhareef, Nancy Ajram sat down with talk show host Wafaa El Kilani to share the adorable story of how she first met and won over her now-husband, Fadi Al-Hashem. In case you didn’t know, the couple married in 2008 after dating for three years and have two daughters together, Mila and Ella. They are currently expecting their third child, Ajram revealed on Instagram in August.
The pregnant Ajram, who appeared on the talk show wearing a black, mini dress with long sleeves, opened up about the heart-warming moment she first met her husband, who is a celebrity dentist in Beirut. “I had a dentist’s appointment with him in 2005, and I just said to him ‘You are so handsome, did you do something to your teeth?’ He replied that they were his natural teeth,” she revealed to the audience. Though he didn’t acknowledge it then, Ajram claims that her comment really stuck with him. Clearly — considering that the couple went on to date immediately afterwards before tying the knot in Cyprus three years later.
The singer also went on to open up about the sex of her unborn baby, revealing that she still doesn’t know what the child’s gender is and won’t know for another couple of weeks. “The most important thing to me is that the baby is healthy,” she said. “If it’s a girl, then she she will be a sister to Mila and Ella and if it’s a boy, then they will finally have a brother.” The Lebanese superstar welcomed her first child Mila on her 26th birthday in 2009. Two years later, on April 23, she gave birth to her second daughter with Al-Hashem, Ella.
Though she is pregnant, the star doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. Ajram has just wrapped up two music videos for W Maak and Al Hob Zay al Watar from her ninth studio album Hessa Beek. The former Vogue Arabia cover star is also currently preparing for an upcoming concert in Las Vegas on November 3.
