Nancy Ajram celebrated her 11 years of her marriage with husband Fadi Al Hachem on September 1. The Lebanese singer took to Instagram to share a heartwarming message on the occasion. “This day will always be the best day of my life,” she wrote. “Happy wedding anniversary my love.”
Ajram is not one to shy away from expressing her love for her husband and often takes to social media to share pictures on their anniversaries. On their sixth anniversary, she posted a short video of the song “Men El Yawm” (“From Now”) dedicated to el Hachem. And for their eight, she posted an update on Facebook with a picture of her husband kissing her cheek and the caption, “It does not matter where we are at or what we have, being with each other is a wonderful journey we both started, walking hand in hand, now and ever after, you are the right wings to my dream. Happy anniversary hayete.”
The former Vogue Arabia cover star and el Hachem tied the knot in an intimate civil marriage ceremony in 2008 in Cyprus after a three-year relationship. They now have three children together, Lya, Mila, and Ella.
Another former Vogue Arabia cover star who celebrated her wedding anniversary yesterday is Tunisian model Rym Saidi Breidy with husband Wissam Breidy. The Lebanese journalist and TV presenter also shared a sweet note on Instagram in celebration of their two-year anniversary. Captioning a photo from their wedding he wrote, “Two years ago, I thought I was only in love, but as time goes by and our family grows, the feeling only becomes greater and is enhanced by respect, understanding, homogeneity, integration, hope, happiness, and blessing. I love you, mother of Bella. I hope that every year you continue to be my whole life.”
Saidi Breidy too shared an adorable picture from their wedding, calling it, “the most emotional day” of her life. She wrote: “2 years ago, so many things have changed since. We’re more mature, more responsible… but my love for you is still the same and even stronger with the arrival of our angel, and my eyes still sparkle when I look at you and I thank God every day for sending you to me at the right time of my life. I love you my husband. @wissambreidy (and by the way, we fight like all couples but we never sleep without making peace and saying I love you to each other).”
Interviewing Saidi Breidy for Vogue Arabia’s April 2019 issue, Breidy had asked, “What did you think when you first met me?”, and “When did you know you wanted to marry me?” to which the mother of one had replied, “I thought you were a handsome, charming, and charismatic man. And you had such a beautiful voice! You were also respectful, well-educated, spiritual, and a positive person.” Adding: “When I saw how much you cared about your family. I knew you could be a great father.”
Last week, Lebanese singer Myriam Fares celebrated her fifth wedding anniversary with businessman Dani Metri by reaffirming their wedding vows.
