Nancy Ajram Praises the Lebanese Army for This Sweet Gesture

Nancy Ajram is quite vocal when it comes to showing support for the Lebanese army. On Saturday, the superstar singer shared a heart-warming video onto her official Instagram page that depicted a soldier leaning out of an army truck to hand a refugee child searching for food a sack of bread. “We all need to be like the Lebanese army,” wrote Ajram to her 18.8 million followers. The video went on to garner over 700,000 views and comments praising the Lebanese soldier for his thoughtful gesture.

It’s not the first time that the Vogue Arabia cover star shows support for her country’s military force. In 2012, the badna nwalee el jaw singer teamed up with fellow Lebanese stars Nawal El Zoghbi, Hassi el Hellani, Wael Kfoury, and Samir Sfeir on a patriotic song entitled “Jeish Lebnan”, that was a tribute to the Lebanese army. Meanwhile, every Armed Forces Day (August 1), the 35-year-old singer does not hesitate to celebrate the military through thoughtful social media posts or with her sartorial choices— In the past, Ajram has worn a camo-print, army-inspired arm band to acknowledge the efforts of her nation’s soldiers.
