Lebanese superstar Nancy Ajram hosted a wonderful party in celebration of her daughter Lya’s baptism yesterday. The former Vogue Arabia cover star documented the preparations on her Instagram account, sharing it with her nearly 22 million followers.
The mother-of-three also shared an adorable photo of the entire family from the occasion, captioned with “God bless our angel LYA.” While Ajram has shared a photo of Lya previously, this is the first time the world gets to see her face.
“What an exciting day for your little sweet Lya. God bless you and your beautiful family,” fellow Lebanese singer Myriam Fares commented on the post.

Lya is Ajram’s third child with her husband, celebrity dentist Fadi Al-Hashem. The couple, who wed in 2008, welcomed Mila in 2009, and Ella in 2011. In February 2019, Ajram welcomed Lya into the world. Revealing the name of her newborn on Instagram, Ajram had said, “Another gift from God and a new ray of light has entered our home! My beautiful LYA I can’t wait for us to walk together your journey and promise to be there for you at all time. You were anticipated, loved, cherished and wanted. Now that I’m holding you in my arms those feelings have multiplied tenfold. Words cannot describe how much we love our precious LYA.”
Shortly after, the singer unveiled a heart-warming tribute song dedicated to the newborn. The badna nwalee el jaw singer had shared a teaser of the single, simply entitled after her daughter’s name, alongside the caption “My gift to my precious Lya.”
