This season’s perfume game is going to get a lot more interesting with the launch of Carolina Herrera‘s latest limited release for the Good Girl family. A bold new version celebrating the magic of the night, Good Girl Midnight is an intense and textured eau de parfum that goes beyond the very soul of the original Good Girl.
Exclusively available in the Middle East, Good Girl Midnight re-interprets the classic and iconic scent of jasmine with a compelling feminine heart of tuberose and orange blossom. And bringing the fragrance to life is none other than Nadine Nassib Njeim, who took to her social media page recently to share the first glimpse of the perfume’s sparkling new avatar. “Thrilled to be the face of Good Girl Midnight,” the Lebanese beauty announced to her followers with a playful sneak peek that showed her dressed in a glittering gold gown, perfume in hand.
Taking a unique approach towards the duality present at the core of every fragrance in the Good Girl collection, the floral element of the fragrance is woven into its base notes with the traditionally noble sandalwood, mysterious and narcotic patchouli, as well as the rich warmth of vanilla and its more complex and beguiling kin, the tonka bean. “I wanted to take Good Girl almost to its limit. Keeping the DNA but creating something that its much richer, more opulent and sophisticated and a little bit more addictive than the original one,” said Louise Turner, perfumer for the scent.
Good Girl Midnight, which comes in Carolina Herrera’s signature high-heeled stiletto bottle, comes in an intense black lacquer with the toe dipped in luminescent gold dust. Perfect for gifting—or just to treat yourself—the bottle comes in a festive gold box embellished with a geometric motif reminiscent of twinkling stars. Who is it for? Ask Nadine Nassib Njeim, and she says: “Every woman is a ‘Good Girl’ for me. The Good Girl woman is a woman who stands up for herself and for others too. She might take a break, but she will never give up! She is strong independent… I think I’m a good girl as well!”
