In an evening of excitement and glamour, the third edition of Vogue’s Ball of Arabia at Jumeirah Mina A’Salam brought together the region’s most famous faces to celebrate the Golden Age of Arab entertainment and its leading stars. Three legendary divas who continue to inspire the new generation of talents were honored for their remarkable achievements and careers: Egyptian actor Nabila Ebeed, Tunisian singer Latifa, and Lebanese model and Miss Universe Georgina Rizk.

The beautiful Tunisian star Dorra Zarrouk hosted the legendary actor, Nabila Ebeed, and invited her to receive her award. “Today we celebrate an icon in the Arab and Egyptian cinema. As an actress, I don’t forget the great stars who inspired me and made me love acting”, she said. “As a young child, I watched her on the screen and was fascinated by her beauty, charisma, personality, and talent. She was and is still special. She is an inspiring woman for all Arab women because she is one of the actresses who most expressed women’s issues in her works. She loved cinema, cinema loved her and we love her.”

She welcomed Egypt’s superstar, Nabila Ebeed, who took the stage and expressed her love for Zarrouk, saying, “The word ‘happy’ can’t express what I am feeling right now. I am extremely happy in this situation, while Vogue Arabia brings us together here in Dubai, in the UAE, a country of civilization, culture, love, peace, and everything beautiful.” With her funny way and sense of humor, she added, “I would like to thank Vogue Arabia’s team for the idea of the Ball per se, which is unique and special; for choosing me for this experience, that brings me together with Latifa and Georgina; and for starring the covers.”
