As the mercury rises, the second edition of Vogue Living Arabia showcases the most beautiful summer homes in the Arab world. Starring on the cover, Saudi Arabian film producer Mohammed Al Turki opens the doors to his family’s sprawling Al Khobar residence. “My mother and I have always loved interiors,” he says. “We love choosing things on our own and acquiring pieces from all over the world.”

In Dubai, the home of the Sharaf family, designed by Rania Hamed from VSHD Design, features art deco touches, while in Morocco, Cyrielle Astaing and Julien Phomveha invite us into their dream farmhouse. Then we step to Milan, where Lebanese architect Rudy Faissal welcomes us to his contemporary abode, filled with light and iconic design.

Since summer means bold colors, this latest issue of Vogue Living Arabia features an edit of fabrics in rich hues and patterns, by leading brands such as Hermès and Rubelli. We also highlight the best outdoor furniture for idyllic alfresco days.

The issue shares the latest news, trends, and style, turning the spotlight on burgeoning talents from across the region who are bringing a new take to the world of ceramics. We also celebrate spectacular high jewelry, crafted with century old techniques – all true pieces of wearable art.

While this edition is joyful and upbeat, we also pay homage to the Italian design and furniture industry, which is struggling in a moment of uncertainty instigated by the world-wide pandemic that has touched all our lives. It is a universal truth that Italy is the undisputable leading product design haven, and this has been the case for centuries. Its professionals, fairs, and iconic products shape the way in which we live. Join us as we celebrate the works of Gio Ponti, Gaetano Pesce, Rodolfo Dordoni, Antonio Citterio, and other masters, while hoping that the hub of the design world will stand tall again soon.
