There’s a new concert to mark on your calendar for the coming year, as Grammy-nominated pop-rock band One Republic has announced a Dubai stop on their world tour. Dubbed Artificial Paradise, the tour will see the six-member group take the stage at JBR’s popular hotspot Bla Bla on January 25, 2024, for a night full of its latest as well as nostalgic hits like ‘Counting Stars’ and ‘Apologize’.
One Republic is no stranger to the UAE, having performed here on multiple occasions, including the Dubai Jazz Festival in 2020, and Abu Dhabi’s Amplified Music Festival just last year. It’s only natural that the members Ryan Tedder, Zach Filkins, Drew Brown, Brent Kutzle, Eddie Fisher, and Brian Willett now bring the unforgettable magic of their world tour to their fans in the country. The band also holds a special connection with the region, after collaborating with Saudi singer Mishaal Tamer earlier this year. The artists were featured on the single ‘Mirage’ released alongside Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the new game part of the highly acclaimed franchise.
Tamer has been making waves in the music industry since becoming the first pop artist from the Kingdom to sign a major record deal in the US with RCA Records in 2020. Following his collaboration with One Republic, Tamer would go on tour with the band as a supporting act this year, becoming the first Saudi artist to achieve the milestone. Before One Republic hits the stage here in Dubai, concertgoers can expect a captivating opening set from Tamer, including tracks from his new album, The Deep.
