Can You Guess The Singer Mina El Hammani Listens To On The Sets Of Her Netflix Show?

Mina El Hammani in the Netflix show Elite

With her tumbling curls and full, regal features recalling those of Imaan Hammam, Mina El Hammani has captured a fan base not just in her native Spain, but in the Gulf, too. She was raised in Madrid and is of Moroccan descent, yet despite her dreams of becoming an actor, struggled to launch. When she was 18, she found her footing in the Spanish series El Príncipe. After starting out as a set extra, she went on to appear in the second season as well. She’s currently appearing in the second season of the Netflix show Élite, playing a curious and headstrong hijabi student in the teen drama. To keep up with her charged filming schedule, she stays motivated by listening to Beyoncé, stating, “She is my idol, because she has reached a position where she makes all her own decisions.”
