If traveling in style is what you thrive on, the latest offering from Mercedes-Maybach, the limited edition series  Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Haute Voiture is one ride that has to be on your radar. A collectible piece designed for special occasions, the new vehicle was created by Mercedes Benz’s most specialized customization and craftsmanship team in Sindelfingen, and takes the German automobile brand’s newly-launched aesthetics, and adds in meticulous new design details for an elevated experience like no other. In case you missed it, Mercedes-Maybach presented the new model for the first time during an event in Dubai on December 12, 2022 alongside a curated fashion show by Atelier Zuhra by Omani designer Rayan Al Sulaimani.

“The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Haute Voiture heralds a new chapter of high exclusivity for the brand,” says Daniel Lescow, Head of Mercedes-Maybach at Mercedes-Benz Group AG. “With a restricted limited run of 150 units, the special edition reflects our brand philosophy to occasionally release aspirational collectibles. Thus, we further strengthen the position of Maybach as the ultimate luxury pioneer and facilitate one-of-a-kind luxury experiences that go beyond our customers’ expectations.”

A fashionable twist

Bringing together impeccable craftsmanship and the highest quality materials, the limited-edition vehicle can easily be compared to a drivable piece of art, and offers its rider a complete sensory experience with its finer details. While the exterior of the car stands out for its exclusive two-tone paint finish (a combination of metallic nautical blue on top, with a light shimmering rose tone in the lower section and nautical blue metallic rims), the magic really begins when one opens its doors. Mercedes-Maybach patterns using LCD technology illuminate both the front and rear entry areas, creating a special moment every single time.

Inside, high-quality fashion-inspired bouclé fabric remains a constant throughout the model, in blue, beige, rose gold and gold shades, with additional intricate details featured within the seat covers and cushions. Highlights of crystal white leather embrace the passengers throughout the consoles, doors and scatter cushions. The floormats are made of linen and mohair. Rose gold glasses seamlessly integrate the display in the spacious rear alongside an Haute Voiture badge in the door panel. The Haute Couture inspiration here cannot be missed.

Along with this, the limited edition  Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Haute Voiture also features sparkling glitter clouds in the MBUX infotainment system, creating a “catwalk glamor” inspired experience, and for the style-savvy customer, a special bag collection that ties in with the car’s luxe aesthetic.

An experience like no other

But what is it that makes this particular machine so significant? Gorden Wagener, Chief Design Officer Mercedes-Benz Group AG, is quick to share:  “The intricate features and exclusive design elements are what makes the  Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Haute Voiture one of the most extravagant models we ever created – it represents Sophisticated Luxury in its purest form. Our customers have access to the most aspirational lifestyle, so we wanted to reflect this through creating something utterly desirable and using components never before seen on a Mercedes-Maybach.”

Not only is the car a delight to own, it also ties in with Mercedes-Maybach’s goal to treat its family with something novel and rare.
