The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reminiscing on significant moments from their time as senior working royals. Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex have sent their wishes to royal correspondence collector, Gert’s Royal Replies, and various other fans, thanking them for their kind messages sent during the festive season.
The royal correspondence collector revealed the Sussexes official holiday thank you card and shared a photo of the couple’s reply on his Instagram account. The card features a picture of the couple in Dubbo, Australia, when they were on their royal tour of Australia, Fiji, Tonga, and New Zealand. In the image, the Duchess can be seen holding an umbrella over her and her husband as Prince Harry makes a speech about prioritizing mental health. The photo is the same one the Duke and Duchess of Sussex used back in January 2019 to thank fans for their 2018 holiday messages.

The couple accompanied the heartfelt card with an equally charming message that read, “Thank you for your thoughtful message. We appreciate your kind words and the time you have taken to write to us on this special occasion. Sending you our warmest wishes. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.” The royal correspondence collector shared the message on his blog for fans of the royal couple to see.
Over the holidays, the couple chose to go a different route with their approach to the annual holiday card. They chose to feature an illustrated recreation of a photo taken by the Duchess’s mother, Doria Ragland. It included the couple, their young son, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, and their two dogs, Guy and Pula.
Although the royals have stepped down from their posts as senior working royals and moved halfway across the world to the US, the couple continues to send letters through Prince Charles’s Clarence House, which deals with royal fan mail.
