Meghan Markle is returning to the podcast world with a brand new partnership.

Soon after launching a new website for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s business and philanthropic ventures, the Duchess of Sussex has announced a new partnership that marks her return to the podcast world. According to a statement posted on Sussex.com, the 42-year-old has joined forces with Lemonada Media, an award-winning podcast network, to create a new original podcast series, the title of which is yet to be revealed.
What’s more, Lemonada Media will also be taking over the distribution of the first season of Archetypes from Spotify to all audio platforms. The podcast was the first project to come out of a deal between the couple’s Archewell Productions and Spotify, after which they parted ways with the platform in 2023. The Archetypes podcast series featured guest appearances by a number of noteworthy women including Mariah Carey, Serena Williams, Deepika Padukone, and Paris Hilton who explored the labels and stereotypes that try to hold women back.
“I’m proud to now be able to share that I am joining the brilliant team at Lemonada to continue my love of podcasting,” said Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex in the statement. “Being able to support a female-founded company with a roster of thought-provoking and highly entertaining podcasts is a fantastic way to kick off 2024. Our plan to re-release Archetypes so that more people can now have access to it, as well as launching a dynamic new podcast are well in the works. I’m so eager to be able to share it soon, and am overjoyed to be joining the Lemonada family.”
The news was accompanied by a new portrait of Meghan, taken by photographer and friend of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Misan Harriman. It features Meghan standing by a wall with her arms crossed, dressed in a sleeveless gray turtleneck, and what appears to be her go-to Cartier Tank watch.
