Meghan Markle Relaunches Her Archetypes Podcast with a New Look on All Platforms

Meghan Markle’s podcast series Archetypes has returned with a brand new look and is now streaming on all platforms.

The relaunch of Archetypes comes after Meghan Markle signed a deal with media company and podcast network Lemonada last month. As the first project to come out of the partnership between Spotify and Meghan and Prince Harry’s Archewell, the podcast had only been available on Spotify, until the two parted ways in June 2023.

As part of the relaunch, the branding of Archetypes has been slightly refreshed in a pink hue as opposed to the Spotify green on the older version, while Meghan’s black and white portrait remains. The Lemonada Media watermark has also been added to the cover art of the podcast, which is now streaming on all audio platforms including Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, and Spotify. Currently at 12 episodes which aired in 2022, Archetypes featured one-on-one discussions with notable personalities including  Mariah CareySerena WilliamsDeepika Padukone, and Paris Hilton on “the labels that try to hold women back” and “how women can reject, reclaim, and redefine these archetypes, on their own terms.”

“Being able to support a female-founded company with a roster of thought provoking and highly entertaining podcasts is a fantastic way to kick off 2024,” Meghan said in a statement via last month. “Our plan to re-release Archetypes so that more people can now have access to it, as well as launching a dynamic new podcast are well in the works.”

Meghan is also set to make a public appearance very soon, as she takes the stage at the SXSW Conference on March 8 to mark International Women’s Day. The Duchess of Sussex is set to speak on the Opening Day Keynote Panel titled ‘Breaking Barriers, Shaping Narratives: How Women Lead On and Off the Screen’ alongside Katie Couric, Brooke Shields and Nancy Wang Yuen.
