Lebanese singing sensation Maya Diab is one of the most successful and talented pop stars in the Arab world. Having started her musical career in 2001, the singer has not only collaborated with regional greats like composer Ziad Rahbani but also international artists like French Montana and Jason Derulo.

In celebration of her birthday today, November 10, we take a look at five of her best music videos from her memorable career.

4 Cats – Ya Antar

Prior to launching her career as a solo artist, Diab was a member of an all-girl pop band called “The 4 Cats.” The band saw immense nationwide fame with the song Ya Antar being one of their most popular hits.

Sawa feat. Ramy Ayach

In this duet with Lebanese superstar Ramy Ayache, Diab created a romantic love-is-in-the-air environment with her fun and witty dance moves.

Diab transported her fans to a high-tech futuristic world through the music video Baadou. In this world, Diab dared to challenge the status quo by tackling the issue of gender roles.

Filmed outdoors, Gatifin is a fun and upbeat love song drawing on tribal and bohemian influences. Diab was featured flaunting her effortless curls while dancing in various locations including on top of cars and on sidewalks as she attempts to find her love interest.

Massari – Ya Nour El Ein (feat. Maya Diab & French Montana)

When Ya Nour El Ein was released, we all expected it to be the ultimate summer song, and indeed, it was. This upbeat remake included international stars like Massari, French Montana and Maya Diab. Diab was filmed behind whitewashed walls and cobalt blue roofs reminiscent of a summer vacation in Santorini.
