Nimerology is a high-end, London-based tableware brand founded in 2013 by Nour al Nimer. The Palestinian-Turkish designer has made it her signature to transform personal journeys into luxurious china sets. Her latest offering, An Ode to Scandinavia, is just that. The designer, who admits to always having a predilection for Scandinavian design, was inspired by a recent trip to Sweden. “The marriage of beautiful organic forms with everyday functionality makes Scandinavian aesthetics incredibly appealing,” she explains.
The limited edition dinnerware line was designed exclusively for House of Today’s third biennial exhibition. The Lebanese non-profit platform showcases the creativity of emerging local talent; plans are already underway to present a third exclusive al Nimer collection between Dubai and Kuwait. Featuring dinner, salad, and dessert plates (perfect for serving kunafeh or qatayef), as well as cups in deep jewel tones and meticulously drawn designs, the exquisite home décor collection will certainly make an eye-catching addition to your china cabinet.
The plates can be purchased online at www.nimerology.com or www.houseoftoday.com.
