These 10 UAE Restaurants Are Offering the Most Romantic Valentine’s Day Experiences This Year

Preparations for Valentine’s Day are in full swing at UAE restaurants. From themed décor to curated menus for two, there’s a lot to look forward to this February 14. Couples can either make their way down to the country’s renowned romantic restaurants or turn to the luxurious spots with special Valentine’s Day offerings. Read on to know all about them.

The boutique polo restaurant is offering a three-course set menu paired with three types of grape at Rare Oakwood Fire Grill created by executive chef Gaston Silva Herrera and his team. Guests can start their dinner with mini soup à l’oignon, chilled cucumber and horseradish gazpacho with crab salad and pickled white radish, or asparagus ‘A La Sal’ with endives and Dijon dressing. The main course can be a choice between roast duck breast with peach, turnip and duck croustillants or steamed cod with curried mussels and carrots. For vegetarians, confited mushrooms, onion mousseline, garlic cream, roasted beetroot, and three versions of potatoes topped with vegetarian gravy are available. A dark cherry souffle with clotted cream ice cream and dark chocolate sauce will be served for dessert.

The popular DIFC restaurant is going all-out this Valentine’s Day with an intimate ‘San Valentino’ celebration dinner featuring a re-decorated space and a five-course set menu by chef Danilo Valla. Serenaded by a violinist, singer, and cello performer, guests can choose from three packages, each of which comes with a premium bottle of pink or sparkling grape, roses, and Roberto’s truffle chocolates. Highlights of the menu include marinated Gillardeau oyster with tuna, yuzu and jalapeño dressing, sea asparagus and ravioli pasta filled with chickpeas and mussels, and wild turnip in pumpkin sauce. And for dessert, vanilla and strawberry ice cream, topped with warm spicy chocolate foam and dry passion fruit. Guests can also choose to experience the same on the water with Roberto’s San Valentino yacht with a private chef creating a five-course menu.

Indochine

The limited-edition Valentine’s Day offering at the French-Vietnamese hotspot features Indochine classics as well as brand new dishes. Starters include crystal truffle dumplings and scallop Crudo with mango and jalapeno, followed by Indochine-firsts for mains: chateaubriand for two, steamed red snapper with scallions and ginger oil, and pan-roasted poussin with prawn mousseline. For dessert, the restaurant will serve the much-loved Asian dessert of mango sticky rice with mango sorbet and coconut Sauce. Guests can also choose to dine outdoors at Indochine’s stylish terrace complete with a leafy canopy, flowers, and the brand’s signature tropical décor.

LPM

One of the most romantic restaurants in Dubai will serve some of its iconic dishes for Valentine’s Day, such as snails with garlic butter, marinated lamb cutlets with olive and aubergine caviar, and vanilla cheesecake with berry compote. What’s more, LPM is offering a polaroid camera at guests’  disposal throughout the night for memories to be captured, as well as a limited-edition dessert and cocktail. The former is an indulgent strawberry and rhubarb pavlova, while the latter is a light and refreshing rose-based drink, with hints of elderflower and peppercorn.

Desserts can taste much better when they are complementary, and this DIFC spot is of the same mind. The restaurant is offering the ideal sweet note for guests to end their Italian seafood dinner on, with a dish titled Vanilla Berries Creamosso. The Instagram-worthy dessert is milk ice-cream based, filled with vanilla and strawberry cream, shredded coconut, and topped with red glaze and heart-shaped chocolate.

The 1920s European café inspired by the golden era of Brussels is offering an exquisite five-course dinner for two. Guests can start with Gillardeau oysters followed by sea bass carpaccio and foie gras terrine, and for mains, choose between beef and salmon, and end with a crumbly strawberry cheesecake for dessert.

For starters is an assortment of fresh seafood from poached Maine lobster to hamachi ceviche, and for the second course, a two-way foie gras with candied walnuts, infused brown raisons, and thyme duck jus. The third course is a spread with a herb-marinated Wagyu beef tenderloin or seven-hour slow-smoked beef short ribs coupled with sautéed heirloom carrots, courgettes and asparagus spears.
