Lindsay Lohan just quoted an iconic line from her film Mean Girls while talking about motherhood and her son Luai.
On Tuesday, Lindsay Lohan appeared on The View, where she spoke about motherhood, the holidays, and her upcoming Netflix Christmas movie. During the interview, the actor referred to a line from the cult-favorite 2004 film Mean Girls, saying that she wants to be “a cool mom”, which made the live audience burst into applause. Speaking about her son Luai, the 38-year-old said that “it feels great” to be a mother.
“My son is my life. Every morning, I take a picture of him when he wakes up. I have too many pictures but I want to see how he changes every day,” she said. “There’s just so much love,” she went on to say. “Everything he does is so exciting, every day, and I want to capture it every day.” To that, co-host Whoopi Goldberg added, “Just wait til he turns 20,” and Lohan said, “Oh no, I’ll be nice, I’ll be nice. I’ll be a cool mom.” For the uninitiated, the “cool mom” reference comes from a memorable scene in Mean Girls, where Amy Poehler who plays Regina George’s mom says, “There are no rules in this house, okay? I’m not like a regular mom. I’m a cool mom!”
