Dubai-based star Lindsay Lohan, who has always been open about her love for the Middle East, has once again chosen Lebanon as a summer holiday destination.

Via Instagram reels, the Mean Girls star shared snippets of her vacation, seemingly with her husband Bader Shammas, featuring the statue of Our Lady of Lebanon at a church in Harissa, and the Saint Charbel statue in Hammana, along with snaps of Lebanon’s rosy sunsets and serene beaches. The post was captioned ‘Lebanon’ along with the country’s flag emoji.

Lohan tied the knot with Arab financier Shammas earlier this year in a private ceremony. In an Instagram post shared by the actor on July 2, she wrote, “I am the luckiest woman in the world. You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time. I am stunned that you are my husband. My life and my everything. Every woman should feel like this every day.” The Hollywood actor announced her engagement in November, with a series of pictures on Instagram, while she was first spotted with Shammas during a music festival in Dubai in 2020.

This is not Lohan’s first trip to the country. Last summer, the former child star and then-boyfriend Shammas were seen touring the region and also posed for photos with fans in Lebanon.

On the work front, Lohan also started her own podcast called The Lohdown with Lindsay Lohan earlier this year, where she interviewed star interior designer Bobby Berk and talked about her love for Middle Eastern foods and how the food cooked by her fiancé’s family are her “happy foods”. “I feel like my fiancé, his family’s food, when his mother makes certain foods, those are my happy place foods,” she said. “They are just so authentic and comforting and exciting.” The 36-year-old relocated to Dubai before her wedding and now resides in the city with her husband.
