HM Queen Rania Shares Loving Birthday Tribute to Her Two Daughters

She may be in New York for the UN’s General Assembly, but today, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah‘s thoughts are with her family. The Jordanian royal took to social media on Wednesday to share a touching portrait with her two daughters, Princess Iman and Princess Salma. The siblings, who also have brothers Crown Prince Hussein and Prince Hashem, share birthdays that fall rather close together. Princess Iman, who is currently studying at Washington’s Georgetown University in the United States, turns 22 on September 27, while young sister Princess Salma, who recently graduated from high school, turns 18 on September 26.

Queen Rania used her post, shared with her 4.8 million followers, to send a loving message to her daughters on the occasion. “Each one of you fills my heart with joy in her own way, but my love for both of you is one,” write the royal. “Happy birthday to my Iman and Salma.” Big brother Crown Prince Hussein also took to the social media platform to pay tribute to Princess Salma and Princess Iman. “Happy birthday to my dear sisters, Salma and Iman!” the royal captioned a shot showing him linking arms with his sisters. “Wishing you both a lifetime of success and happiness!”

Her Majesty, a devoted mother of four, has spoken many a time about balancing her position and her home life, offering up plenty of inspiration and wisdom for those in a similar position. Click here for some of Queen Rania’s most insightful musings on raising her family…
