The chart-topping rapper jetted into Dubai earlier this week, where she was spotted showing off a head-to-toe Versace look, and also journeyed to the emirate of Abu Dhabi, according to her latest Instagram posts. The Vogue Arabia cover star shared an image of herself sitting astride a dune buggy, kitted out in a newspaper-printed jumpsuit and a cherry-red helmet. “Ride wit Minaj,” the star captioned the shot, shared with her 92 million followers. The Queen hitmaker also uploaded a short clip of her making light work of traversing the dunes, as the sun set behind her.
Minaj’s apparent love of speed bodes well for her rumored new relationship with Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton. The star apparently visited the UAE with the racing driver, as eagle-eyed fans spotted his reflection in mirrored elevator doors in a clip Minaj posted to Instagram. During the short video, Minaj twirled in a marble hotel lobby in Dubai, wearing a flashy, three-piece ensemble plucked from Donatella Versace‘s archival Spring 2018 runway tribute to her late brother.
Alas, fans hoping to catch a glimpse of Minaj in the UAE will be disappointed – the star only stopped in the Emirates for a few days, and has since moved on to Brazil ahead of a concert scheduled in São Paulo on Wednesday.
