She’s a supermodel whom designers clamor to dress, and Gigi Hadid just had a taste of what it’s like to be in said designers’ shoes. The half-Palestinian star took to Instagram on Wednesday to celebrate the fact that her jewelry line had been sported by none other than Beyoncé. The 23-year-old runway star told her 41.5 million followers that the Grammy-winning singer had worn pieces from her collaboration with Messika during her On the Run II Tour with husband Jay-Z.
“Can you believe?!” Hadid exclaimed, revealing that the Lemonade star wore G-Pin Diamond Earrings and a custom XX Long Move Addiction Drip earring while on stage. “We appreciate you so much Queen B,” the model added. Hadid first unveiled the limited-edition high jewelry line, which also includes bracelets, rings, and necklaces, last year. The collaboration was launched to mark the 10th anniversary of French label Messika’s Move collection, which Hadid reimagined with punk accents and graphic details. Pieces come in white, rose and yellow golds, with a refined twinkling of diamonds.

Hadid’s celebratory post comes just one day after the model was forced to defend her on-off relationship with Zayn Malik. Responding to a social media account dedicated to exposing the “truth” about Hadid’s romance with the British singer, the star revealed she “posts about my boyfriend like anyone else”. “Whether I support Z or he supports me is out of love and excitement for one another. There’s nothing to figure out all the time… give it a break,” wrote Hadid. “I really have no hard feelings towards you, I just know what a beautiful world there is to go out and live in instead of trying to dissect a relationship between two people that you don’t even know and that you do not see 99% of.”
Following two years together, the supermodel and the former One Directioner announced they had parted ways in March, though appear to have reunited in recent months. The runway star hinted at a reconciliation with the singer after sharing a selfie of the two on her Instagram Stories in early June, though her post this week is the first time she has referred to Malik as her “boyfriend” since their split.
