Kourtney Kardashian and her partner, Algerian model Younes Bendjima, are currently vacationing in Egypt, offering cool new meaning to #RelationshipGoals. The couple have been documenting their activities in the North African nation via Instagram and Snapchat – most recently, a camel ride at the Pyramids of Giza captured by Kardashian family friend Simon Huck, who came along on the trip. Dressed in matching army-print pants, Kardashian and Bendjima were the picture of coordinated travel style.
The group also partook in other tourist activities, such as posing in front of the Great Sphinx, living it up at Hacienda Bay, and enjoying the northern coast beaches. This photograph of the 38-year-old unabashedly snapping a selfie against the backdrop of a pyramid while her travel mates pose in front of her, is also making the rounds on Twitter.
Though many Egyptian fans are delighted to see the eldest Kardashian sister living it up in Cairo, others are surprised to see her there. However, the trip is not all that shocking considering that the North African country is rapidly emerging as a destination on the bucket list of seasoned travelers. In the last year alone, adventure travel company Intrepid Travel has seen a 70% growth in US bookings to Egypt, and Pinterest teamed up with Airbnb to determine which destinations are currently trending across both sites. Topping the list? Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt.
With its rich history, sprawling beaches, busy souks, and colorful cuisine, what’s not to enjoy? Here, a look at the couple’s enviable vacation.
