Following Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson’s break-up, Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, took to Instagram to react to the news. The rapper shared a mock New York Times headline that read “Skete Davidson Dead at 28” which has reportedly upset his ex-wife.

According to a source close to the Skims owner, “Kim won’t stand for this,” say reports. “She is demanding that Kanye take the post down, but he won’t. She has been vigorously defending Pete. She’ll never get back together with Kanye over the way he’s treated the people she loves and respects. She has tried incredibly hard to have a good co-parenting situation for the children. She won’t stand for this type of behavior from him.”

Although West has since removed the Instagram post, it gained massive public attention and reactions from the public and his fans alike. The father-of-four has always been open with his emotions regarding his divorce and Kardashian’s relationships on social media. In the months following the couple’s divorce, West went public and said he had hopes of “rekindling their relationship” and even said he had “never even seen” the divorce papers.

The whole situation became more complicated when the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star began her relationship with former Saturday Night Live! comedian Davidson in late October. At that time, the rapper threw various insults at Davidson, referring to him only as ‘Skete’ and making references in his track ‘Eazythat he would “beat” him, while the video of the song showed West kidnapping and decapitating an animated cartoon version of the 28-year-old. He also shared private text messages of him and Kardashian on Instagram where she asked him to tell his followers not to hurt her boyfriend as she was concerned about Davidson’s safety.

Following West’s Instagram post on the text messages, Kardashian made a public statement via her Instagram stories in March regarding how she felt about the entire situation. West’s recent reaction comes shortly after he said his relationship with Kardashian was getting slightly better.
