We are certainly used to seeing Kim Kardashian on our TV screen thanks to the unprecedented success of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, but now, it’s time to see the reality TV star take on something a little different —a scripted television show, aka Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story.
For the 12th season of the series, Kardashian will be starring alongside American Horror Story favorite Emma Roberts in a role specifically written for her. In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, Murphy said, “Kim is among the biggest and brightest television stars in the world and we are thrilled to welcome her to the AHS family. Emma and I are excited about collaborating with this true force in the culture. Halley Feiffer has written a fun, stylish, and ultimately terrifying role, especially for Kim, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we have ever done.”

While any details pertaining to the role remain a mystery, Kardashian confirmed the news by posting a short video on social media. This latest season is based on Danielle Valentine’s upcoming novel Delicate Condition. According to the publisher, it’s a thriller “that follows a woman convinced a sinister figure is going to great lengths to make sure her pregnancy never happens—while the men in her life refuse to believe a word she says.”
With American Horror Story Season 12 expected to return in the summer, it won’t be long before we witness her biggest acting role to date.
