What if we told you that you could go on a date with none other than Keanu Reeves? Good guy Keanu is giving one lucky fan the chance to spend some quality one-on-one time with him, albeit on Zoom and for charity, of course.
The Matrix and John Wick star has partnered with Camp Rainbow Gold, a US-based children’s cancer charity to offer a 15-minute Zoom call to the highest bidder. “Bill & Ted. Speed. The Matrix. John Wick. You know him. You love him,” the event description reads. “This is truly priceless and now you have the chance to Zoom with him from home!”

So, get all your questions ready, and your makeup on-point for your candlelit dinner on Zoom for two! The virtual date is valued at $10,000 but bidding on the online auction, which is still open until Monday 22 June, is currently standing at $19,000 — or about $1,266 per minute of Reeves’ virtual time.
This dream call comes with its own set of restrictions. It must take place the week of July 6 and that both Camp Rainbow Gold and Reeves retain the right to cancel the call “if there is threatening or inappropriate behavior.” The auction is open through tomorrow and bidders should remember that Reeves isn’t single and has been in a relationship with visual artist girlfriend Alexandra Grant for years. In addition to donating his time, the actor has two movies in the works, both long-awaited sequels: The Matrix 4 and Bill & Ted Face the Music. All proceeds raised from “15 Minutes of Fame with Keanu Reeves” will go directly to the children’s cancer organization, which focuses on giving kids empowering experiences.
