Jordan’s Princess Noor bint Asem Weds her Saudi Businessman Beau

Just three months after announcing their engagement, Princess Noor bint Asem and Amr Zedan have made it official. The Jordanian royal and the Saudi Arabian businessman wed over the weekend, according to multiple reports, with their families and friends in attendance. The newlyweds celebrated with a reception at the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre, on the eastern shores of the Dead Sea, and were captured marking the occasion in several shots shared to social media by partygoers.

The bride, who is the great-granddaughter of King Abdullah I of Jordan, wore a shimmering, floor-length gown for the nuptials, which glimmered under the lights with its intricate beading and embroidery. Finished with a nipped-in belt and crystal-encrusted sheer sleeves, the romantic creation is reported to be the work of Lebanese couturier Elie Saab, according to designer Debora Grossi. If true, this wouldn’t be the only A-list wedding the Damour-born designer has dressed in recent days, with Game of Thrones actor Rose Leslie donning a classic embroidered number for her wedding to co-star Kit Harington on the same weekend.

Princess Noor’s ceremony was attended by stars such as Saudi presenter Lojain Omran, and members of her family including her younger sister, Princess Nejla bint Asem. Princess Nejla shared several shots from the day with her Instagram followers, showcasing the blue and emerald Nour Shurdom kaftan she sported for the occasion. The jewelry designer’s husband, Nasser Osama Talhouni, and daughter, Kareemah, were also present for the nuptials, which included a performance from singer Ragheb Alamah.

The newlyweds, who reside in Jordan, first announced their engagement in March.
