Now, to commemorate the special occasion that took place on June 1, Jordan’s Post Office has released a number of stamps featuring never-before-seen portraits of the royal couple.

According to the office’s announcement on Sunday, “The issue of commemorative stamps comes to preserve and immortalize the achievements of the Kingdom,” The set features two postal stamps, a card, and an envelope, and will allow “collectors of commemorative stamps from around the world to view Jordanian heritage.”

The image on the card sees Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa walking out of Zahran Palace after their wedding, with guards in the background, while one of the stamps shows an edited picture in which the couple poses against a black and white setting, and the other appears to have been taken in front of a water feature. For the ceremony, the bride, formerly Rajwa Al-Saif wore a dreamy couture gown custom-made by the house of Lebanese designer Elie Saab, and switched to a Dolce & Gabbana piece for the reception.

The wedding followed by the reception at Al Husseiniya Palace was attended by Royal Hashemite family members, foreign and Arab heads of states, high-ranking officials, and royals from the region and beyond, including HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser from Qatar, UK’s Prince and Princess of Wales William and Kate Middleton, and US First Lady Jill Biden. The special day also included a lineup of performances paying tribute to the groom’s military career, the bride’s Saudi Arabian heritage, and traditional Jordanian artistry, making it one of the most remarkable royal weddings in recent history.
