Over the last few months, global icon Jennifer Lopez has excited fans by dropping hints for her new music and this weekend was no exception. J Lo took to Instagram with fellow Grammy-award winning, producer and songwriter Ryan Tedder to excite fans with the possibility of new music coming soon. Sharing a selfie of the pair on Instagram, the singer wrote: “Can u feeeeeel it… new music just around the corner!! ✨🎵 @ryantedder.” The post has received an overwhelmingly positive response, with over half a million likes on Instagram in the first 24 hours from her 131 million followers.

This is not the first time J Lo and Tedder have collaborated with one another. The duo has previously worked together in 2007, on, Do It Well, a song produced and co-written by Tedder, which appeared on J Lo’s sixth studio album, Brave. Tedder, who is the lead vocalist for pop-rock group OneRepublic, has also written and produced songs for a number of successful artists such as Beyoncé, Adele, Taylor Swift, and Ariana Grande.

Earlier this year, Lopez also announced that she was working on new music with Columbian singer Maluma. In another Instagram post in July, the pair posed together to announce their collaboration.

J Lo first began her music career in 1999, with her debut single If You Had My Love, and has since seen global success and acclaim for her role in helping to propel the Latin Pop movement in American music. Known for her singles in both English and Spanish, the songstress released her most recent studio album, A.K.A in 2014 and since 2016 has focused on the release of non-album singles. She has garnered critical acclaim in recent years, both for her 2018 performance in the film Hustlers and most recently her headline performance at the 2020 Super Bowl LIV halftime show, in February, alongside Shakira.
