Since the onset of Covid-19 earlier in the year, Jennifer Lopez and her fiancé Alex Rodriguez have been isolating in Miami along with their children, Emme, Max, Natasha, and Ella. Taking to Instagram to periodically share updates of their life in lockdown, the Grammy-Award winning singer and actress’s most recent pursuit features a video of her impressive backyard. Including a never-ending garden complete with water fountains, several seating areas, and a fish pond, the video – originally reposted from fiancé Alex’s account, featured what looked to be J Lo and her children off on an afternoon walk.

Having previously shown followers around other parts of their house, it is clear that J.Lo and A.Rod’s backyard is perhaps only the tip of the iceberg. Behind closed doors lies an array of luxurious rooms and amenities including a state of the art gym, an expansive kitchen, and an open-plan living space. Complete with exposed-brick walls, the property boasts an air of comfort, character, and coziness. As the owners of a number of properties around the United States, including a penthouse in the big apple, and a home in Los Angeles, their Miami property boasts a particularly special characteristic given it’s proximity to the beach, a feature especially favored by the Lopez and Rodriguez household.
While the couple has clearly cherished the extra time they have spent with one another and their children over the course of the last few months, the pandemic has robbed them, as it has so many others, of the opportunity to celebrate a very special day; their wedding. Having planned for a summer wedding, J.Lo revealed her understandable disappointment over the cancellation, noting she’d made big plans. Speaking to the Today Show in May, the singer said “you just have to kind of wait and see how this all plays out. I’m a little heartbroken because we did have some great plans but I’m also like, you know what, god has a bigger plan, so we just have to wait and see.”
