Fans of Jennifer Lopez can expect exciting news soon, as the superstar has wiped out all posts from her social media and even turned her profile pictures blank. In the entertainment world, this often means that new work and a potential rebrand are on the horizon. Who can forget the time when Beyoncé sent fans into a frenzy by pulling a similar move earlier this year before she released her seventh studio album, Renaissance?

Lopez, who recently wed Ben Affleck, has archived/deleted all posts from her Instagram while those on her Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok remain. The most recent videos posted to her TikTok include her sharing a heartfelt moment with Affleck, and another wrapping up the shooting of the film Atlas. The sci-fi thriller is part of a multi-year first-look deal between Lopez’s Nuyorican Productions and Netflix and will result in the creation of a number of feature films, TV series, and unscripted content supporting diverse female actors, writers, and filmmakers.
While the 53-year-old multi-hyphenate has recently starred in a number of films including Hustlers, Marry Me, and the upcoming Shotgun Wedding and The Mother, it has been nearly a decade since she last released an album. Speaking to Vogue US in her December cover story, Lopez opened up about her ninth studio album, calling it “a culmination of who I am as a person and an artist.”
The singer and actor is yet to reveal the release date of the album, but seeing as her social media have just gone dark, it may drop sooner than expected.
