In true celebration of all paternal figures this Father’s Day, Jennifer Lopez paid tribute to her fiancé Ben Affleck in two unique ways. While the couple does not have any children together, Affleck has three kids from his marriage to Jennifer Garner, and Lopez has two from her former partner, Marc Anthony.

First, the 52-year-old singer took to Instagram to share a heartwarming video of Affleck which featured a montage of clips and pictures of the two together. The video was set to Lopez’s voice from a recent interview where she referred to her relationship with the actor and said, “This is the best time of my life. I love my career but nothing is more fulfilling to me than being able to build a family with someone who I love deeply and who is just as dedicated to family and to each other as we can be.” In the caption for the video, Lopez wrote, “Happy Father’s Day to the most caring, loving, affectionate, consistent, and selfless Daddy ever. #HappyFathersDay my love.”

The star went on to express her affection for Affleck in her newsletter, On the JLo. After writing an emotional message to her own father, Lopez dedicated the next to the actor, sharing her gratitude for Affleck’s fatherhood to not just his children, but to hers as well. “I have had a front row seat to watching how you father for over a year now and I have never seen more consistent, loving and selfless father,” she wrote. “And it’s not just to your own kids but also without obligation to mine as well. You show up and put them first always. You are affectionate and engaged in every moment they are with you and it’s honestly one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. Thank you for all you do for all of us. We appreciate and love you beyond measure.”
Lopez and Affleck previously dated from 2002 to 2004, and rekindled their relationship in 2021, followed by Affleck’s proposal to Lopez in April.
