With wedding bells near for newly-engaged Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, the pop star has opened up about her future plans with the actor. Lopez recently appeared on the TV show Good Morning America to discuss her fund for Latina entrepreneurs and happened to speak about how she feels since rekindling her relationship with Affleck.
“This is the best time of my life,” began the 52-year-old, who is currently enjoying the success of her new Netflix documentary Halftime, shortly after announcing her engagement to Affleck. “I love my career but nothing is more fulfilling to me than being able to build a family with someone who I love deeply and who is just as dedicated to family and to each other as we can be,” she said, referring to the Justice League star. Going on to share her thoughts on the ongoing buzz surrounding her career and relationship, she added, “I love the idea of the future and what we can create. But I really just want to savor the moment and just stay as present in it as I can.”
After being spotted looking at homes together, reports say the couple is now the owner of a Beverly Hills estate where they are set to live with Lopez’s twins, Max and Emme, and Affleck’s three kids from his former partner Jennifer Garner. Lopez and Affleck previously dated from 2002 to 2004, and restarted their relationship in 2021, followed by Affleck’s proposal to Lopez in April.
