For many, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck represent a destined form of love. When the pair confirmed their relationship in 2021, fans were more than ecstatic to know that the couple had reunited almost two decades after they first got together. Now, as they celebrate one year of married bliss, Lopez has shared a heartfelt message and some unseen shots from their wedding.
Affleck and Lopez actually eloped on July 17, 2022, in a secret ceremony at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. However, these nuptials were followed by an extravagant wedding at Affleck’s home in Riceboro, Georgia. The ceremony which took place on August 20, 2022, was joined by family, friends, and three stunning Ralph Lauren gowns.

“The twenty years between those dreams of youth and the adult world of love and family we embraced that day, brought more to this marriage than either of us ever could have imagined,” Lopez shared in her newsletter at the time.
A year later, the star once again shares her thoughts on their relationship but this time in a much more creative manner. Taking to Instagram, the 54-year-old shared two endearing photos from the ceremony – one has the pair smiling wide in marital bliss while the other shows them kissing just as fireworks light up the sky. In the caption, she writes; “One year ago today … Dear Ben, Sitting here alone, Looking at my ring ring, Feeling overwhelmed, It makes me wanna sing sing, How did we end up here, Without a rewind, Oh my, This is my life… Jennifer.”
