Jennifer Lawrence has officially tied the knot with Cooke Maroney.

On Saturday, the Oscar-winning actor and art dealer got married at the Belcourt Castle in Newport, Rhode Island in front of reportedly 150 friends and family. The star-studded ceremony included the likes of Adele, Emma Stone, Ashley Olsen, Kris Jenner, and Amy Schumer. Guests were treated to an extravagant menu complete with an array of hors d’oeuvres and dessert options, TMZ reported. At the lavish rehearsal dinner that took place on Friday, stars Cameron Diaz, Sienna Miller, and Nicole Ritchie were spotted enjoying a clambake.
The 29-year-old American actor wore a Dior dress while the 34-year-old art gallerist donned a classic tux, People reports.
Lawrence’s wedding venue is a historic mansion which was designed in 1894 by renowned American architect Richard Morris Hunt who took inspiration from Louis XIII’s hunting lodge at Versailles. For the ceremony, the estate had been adorned with red rose flower arrangements. TMZ reports that the pair hired celebrity wedding planner Mark Seed, who is known for operating in near-secrecy for his high-profile clients.
The wedding comes one month after the happy couple was spotted at the Manhattan Marriage Bureau along with two security guards, a friend, and famed photographer Mark Seliger, according to Page Six. Lawrence and Maroney have been linked since June 2018 and after less than a year of dating, got engaged in February 2019. Although the two have never attended an event together, Lawrence, on a few occasions, did speak about her relationship with her now-husband. In June, she called him “the greatest human being I’ve ever met.” while talking to E! News reporter Catt Sadler. When asked why she chose to marry him, she replied, “I don’t know, I started with the basics.”
“How do I feel? Is he nice? Is he kind?’ It’s just — this is the one, I know that sounds really stupid but he’s just, he’s — you know. He’s the greatest person I’ve ever met, so I feel very honored to become a Maroney,” she added.
The Silver Linings Playbook actor also unveiled her Amazon wedding registry through E! News. The list with over 49 curated pieces included items ranging from home, entertaining, smart home, outdoor and travel.
