The latest song from Hussain Al Jasmi, Bab Rizq, is a celebration of everything that the holy month of Ramadan stands for. The title which can be translated as ‘A Door to Blessings’ alludes to the overarching theme of the song.
The Emirati singer’s melodic voice is the perfect companion to poet Amir Tuaima’s lyrics as Ali Fathallah provides an uplifting musical composition. “Good morning to our people and our dear ones, to our families and loved ones on the streets, in homes and shops, and to all the goodness in our hearts. I wish a morning with the jasmine fragrance to all who strive and toil, to our brothers, neighbors, and friends,” read the lyrics.

Revealing the track on Instagram, Al Jassmi wished all of his followers Ramadan Kareem while saying, “as long as you strive in life, the whole world will strive for you. Let Ramadan this year be a source of livelihood for you and others as well.”
The words of his caption on Instagram are mirrored throughout the music video for Bab Rizq which was shot in Egypt, and conveys a strong idea of community. Al Jasmi sings, “Trust in God. Positive things will be found by individuals who maintain an optimistic outlook. If a door closes, God will open it for you in time. Leave it to God to resolve the issue and the world will strive with you. Wherever you go, your blessings and livelihood will follow you wherever you go.”
