A day after announcing their engagement to the world, HRH Crown Prince Hussein and Rajwa Al Saif have released their first portrait as an official couple.

The photo posted on the 28-year-old Jordanian royal’s social media sees them dressed in smart, color-coordinated outfits. Prince Hussein sported a dapper navy blue suit and tie, while his Saudi fiancée looked radiant in a powder blue gown. The sophisticated number featured flouncy elbow-length sleeves, a V-neck, and a matching belt lightly cinching the waist. A dainty diamond necklace and earrings completed her look. The couple is all smiles in the photo, with Al Saif resting her engagement-ringed hand on the arm of her husband-to-be.

The modern outfit showed a different side to Al Saif who was dressed in traditional attire on her engagement day. For the ceremony in Riyadh— which took place in the presence of the royal’s parents, Their Majesties Queen Rania and King Abdullah—Al Saif chose a silk dress topped with a white kaftan. She wore a light olive green headscarf to match the dress, while a bronze belt complimented the floral embroidery on her kaftan. Her caramel-colored hair, similar to the style in the portrait, was done in big waves, and minimal makeup defined her beauty look for the occasion.

“We pray that God grants us His blessings,” wrote Prince Hussein sharing the portrait. “Grateful to my dear Jordanian family for their heartfelt support and kind wishes.”
